Information You Submit
A name or location entered in a sponsored search box passes directly to the third-party provider operating that tool. We do not store or log those query terms on our systems. Messages sent to us may be retained long enough to answer and maintain the exchange. We do not share message contents outside our organization unless the law requires it.
Automatic Technical Data
Ordinary page requests may produce technical logs. They can contain an IP address, browser and version, device type, operating system, pages viewed, time spent, referring page, and timestamps. Cookies help measure how visitors use the site. A browser can block cookies, though some functions may behave differently.
How Data Is Used
We use collected data to operate and speed up pages, route sponsored searches to the correct provider, learn which guides are useful, diagnose faults, prevent abuse, answer messages, and display advertising that may reflect visitor interests. Indiana’s Access to Public Records Act governs government records; it does not turn this private site’s technical logs into county records.
Links and Advertising
Links lead to the Harrison County sheriff and clerk, Indiana SAVIN, MyCase, IDOC, federal locators, news sites, and outside search tools. Once a visitor leaves, the destination’s privacy terms apply. Advertising partners may use their own technology to follow activity across sites for tailored ads. That collection occurs on their systems.
Who May Receive Data
We do not sell personal data. Limited data may be handled by a search partner processing a query, an analytics provider measuring use, an advertising network delivering ads, or a government or law-enforcement body acting under a valid legal order.
Security Has Limits
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used. No internet service, storage system, or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot promise that a breach will never occur.

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Get in Touch page to request review and deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and our ability to verify the request, a person may ask for a copy of personal data we hold, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, or an opt-out from certain processing. Browser controls can also limit cookies and advertising identifiers.
